I grew up seeing Mr. Leroy at our house on Saturday mornings when he, my Dad Jay Sorrells and others would gather to start their day of bird hunting. I can still see and hear them laughing and calling out “Birds”. He was a great man. Prayers of peace and comfort to all the family.
Lee and my late husband Don were great friends during their high school days. Saddened as i was to read of his passing it brought back many happy memories of the good times we shared. May he rest in peace
Lee had good memories of his time with you folks.
Joyce
We shared many experiences in our class at Tolman High in R.I. There were 4 of us
who were sharing all our experiences myself, Bob Petelle, Lee and Jeannine’s husband Don.
As Jeannine said there were many happy memories of the good times we all shared. It also
makes me the last remaining member of the fab four. My sincere condolences to Lee’s
entire family.
Lee used to talk a lot about his memories with you guys. Thank you so much for remembering him.
Joyce
Jeff and Scott, miss you guys. Lee and Juanita well I have no words for how much they helped me during a difficult time in life. I loved building a flint lock rifle in your dad’s shop. Stories… man he had them. We are still in Guatemala and will not be able to make it. I am sorry. Bless you and all the family of Lee.
Our condolences to the family. Our prayers go with you during this sad time.
Thanks so much!
Joyce
Lee was a very talented man who was generous to a fault, caring and friendly and a man it was an honor to know. He had a very positive impact on the lives of not only his family but for many, many others. He is missed.
Rest in peace my friend
We are so sad to hear of Lee’s passing. We will have you in our prayers.
Love,
Mike, Beth, Michael, and Logan McBroom
Joyce so sorry to hear of Lees passing. The last time I was able to talk to him was at Bud Stevens memorial. I remember when they first moved into the village when his dad was brought down to go to work at the bleachery. So many years and another lifetime ago. .
