Leigh had the courage just to be herself. She had a way about her that drew people to her. They wanted the same wonderful, compassionate, embrace that she had with the Lord.(Rom 12.1) I hope to live my life with courage like Leigh, ‘Just As I AM’. I will miss my Best Friend. Love Jina
Danny And Family,
Leigh is such a beautiful person. She will always be with us with her wounderful memories and always being there with the great spirit of the Lord that always shines around her. She was the shoulder to lean on while my sister Tina was ill. Leigh was the first person to arrive at the hospital and stayed long hours giving us comfort…. I know that Leigh is with the one thing she loved most in life the Lord. She is in her eternal home and I am looking forward to seeing her again in our heavenly home.
Sandy and Don Brown
We just want to praise God, and thank him for allowing Leigh to be a blessing in all of ours lives….. Thank you God for sharing Leigh with us for the past 32 years.

DANNY, AS YOU FOUND OUT LONG BEFORE WE DID, LEIGH WAS THAT RAY OF SUNSHINE ON A CLOUDY DAY! WE NEVER SAW LEIGH UNLESS THAT RAY WAS SHINING BRIGHTLY. SHE HAS BEEN AN INSPIRATION OF FAITH AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO US. WE WILL MISS LEIGH BUT ONLY FOR A SHORT WHILE TILL WE SEE HER AGAIN IN GLORY. TO YOU AND THE KIDS, YOU KNOW WHERE WE ARE ANYTIME (DAY OR NIGHT) THAT YOU MAY NEED US.
Danny and Children,
Leigh touched our family in such a loving, tender way…we are forever grateful that she cared for our little boy and provided him with so many happy memories in her daycare. Her life and spirit will remain as a bright spot for us! Leigh was an incredible witness of faith, love, and caring- we feel so blessed to have had her as a friend and will miss her very much.
May the Lord carry you in this time of sorrow. You are all in our thoughts but, most of all our prayers.
We are so sorry for your loss. We have been praying for your family for months at Aaron Baptist Church. We will pray that God will give you strength and grace in your families time of need.
Your Brother & Sister in Christ,
Chip & Angie Elliott
Danny,
From the first time I met Leigh, I loved her. She always had a smile on her face that would make anybody around her smile. She has taught me how to care more compasionately for our cancer patients. She always said that she wasn’t afraid of dying. She said that she would be cured…and she is…it is just not here on earth. Please know that you are in my prayers. You have been a wonderful husband.
