  1. Lena was Lucie’s great-aunt. We loved her so much and while we mourn her loss here on Earth we are so happy that she is finally home with her Lord and with her family that preceded her. She was one in a million, she was a great Southern lady, one who lived the definition of a Godly woman. Aunt Lena, we love you and will see you again!

  2. What a wonderful person!! Mrs Stegall was always such a blessing to be around. I’m very thankful the Lord brought her into our lives and that we were able to have her for a friend.
Mrs Stegall had her own prayer closet at Emma, and she spent a lot of time there. We will always remember her for her loving, prayerful spirit. She loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and spirit. I know she is in Heaven.
    In Christ’s love,
    Sharon Ford

  3. To: Mrs. Stegall’s family. We loved this lady so dearly. She was an inspiration to everyone with whom she came in contact. We will never forget her. She is now at home with her Lord. Love- June and Forrest Fox

  4. To the Stegall family. I am sadden in finding that Ms. Stegall has passed but knowing the life that she had lived I know where she is rejoicing at now. I had the privilege to care for Ms. Stegall for 5 yrs while I worked in the Assisted Living at the WNC Baptist Home. Ms. Stegall was one of my dearest residents that I took care of. Every morning when I came to her room to give her, her medications she would always greet me the same same way by saying ‘ This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.’ I became familiar with that verse and although it was how she greeted me every morning it still was nice to hear it. She gave me lots of incouragement and knowledge when the time came for me to get married and leave my employment at the home. Although I was not her family she treated me as if I was. There was somethings that if she wanted done she would ask for me because she said I would ‘ do it the right way.’ So I feel like I became family because of the many hours I spent with her. She was a very special lady. She loved her family but most of all she loved her God and I know she is by his side now. May God Bless You during your time of loss.
