  10. My brother
I still see you in your dirty overalls and us playing cowboys and indians. Roaming the mountains and stumping our toes.
These are the things I thank you for:
    Your sacrifices to our country.
Teaching me to walk a dog with the yoyo.
For not drowning me when you baptized me in the creek.
For not being mad when I set the rabbits free from the rabbit drums.
For taking the load off when the water cans became hard for me to carry.
For bringing me water when I cried in the cotton field.
For removing me and our siblings out of harms way when needed.
For not telling on me for kissing David Long behind the church.
I know some of these things are silly, but most of all I thank you for just being my brother.
I love you now and beyond forever.
    Now you rest in peace.
    Hugs, Kisses and much Love
    Your big sister
    Claudette
