Leslee Cheryl Foley

Ms. Leslee Cheryl (Davis) Foley, of Athens, GA, passed away on November 6th, 2021 at the age of 63.

Cheri was born in 1958 in Fletcher, NC, and moved to Atlanta, GA with her parents at an early age. She was a member of Embry Hill’s United Methodist Church in Chamblee, GA. She graduated from Henderson High School in the class of 1976. Cheri attended Georgia State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration. She worked for and promoted Stone Mountain Park for over 20 years as an event coordinator. She took pride in her work and shared the park with her family, creating many fond memories.

Cheri had two children, Matthew and Morgan. Her children gave her much joy and her goal was to always make them happy. She always cheered on the sidelines at many baseball, football, and soccer games.

Cheri is preceded in death by her mother, Bette Lou (Cathey) Davis and father, Charles Richard Davis. She is survived by her beloved son and daughter, Matthew Foley (Cayla), of Rutledge, GA, and Morgan Foley, of Broomfield, CO; her loving sister, Dana Kenney (Rick), of Suwanee, GA; and nieces and nephews, Emma, Abbie, Richie, Katie, Matty, and Joe.

There will be a graveside service held at Francis Asbury Church on November 17th, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The church is located at 725 Asbury Rd, Candler, NC.
