Guestbook

  1. I’m so very sorry for the loss of a dear woman. She was great to work with and will be dearly missed by many. Leslie was always a strong willed person. We all now have a wonderful angle looking down on us and protecting us everyday. You will be missed everyday Leslie . May you rest in peace.

  2. There are no words to express the grief that losing Leslie will leave behind. I can only say that I always will remember her as one of the most positive people that I have encountered. We would often speak to each other about our difficult upbringings with an overbearing Jewish Mother and she would have me laughing by the end of the conversation. She was truly a person that tread lightly on this Earth, but left an everlasting impression on those that she touched…human and animal alike.

  3. Dear Michael,Family,and Friends
I am so sorry for your loss. Leslie and I worked many years together. I remember her kindness and generosity. Leslie worked for me one Christmas after my son had been hospitalized for 3 weeks at Chapel Hill. I’ll never forgot her kindness. Leslie was a Supernova in all things. She could make you laugh under the most trying circumstances and would try and help you if you needed a hand. Leslie was so proud of you Mike, and the care and comfort you give to patients everyday.
I hope you find comfort in this memory, and in knowing Leslie is at peace now.

  4. What I will remember about Leslie is her courage. In the face of so many challenges she maintained her sense of humor, her self-awareness and her determination to be kind, even when others were less than kind to her. I miss her so much.

  8. Leslie, this wonderful woman, will be missed . She shared her laughter and kindness with so many people.

  9. I have finally understood that there are things we don’t want to happen- but have to accept.
Things we don’t want to know-but have to learn.
And people we don’t want to live without-but have to let go.
Leslie was that rare person you meet who makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world. Rare, because she made everyone she met feel the same. I will try to take the best of her with me, and lead by her example wherever I go.
Into Your merciful Hands receive her
    Deliver her from all fear.
    Strengthen her in Your presence
    And give her Your Peace.
    I love you, Leslie.
And Mike, we are here for you.
