Letitia W. Statum

March 21, 1918 ~ July 10, 1998

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Statum will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Lax officiating. Private interment will be at Ashelawn Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Statum was born in Wilmington, NY, was a daughter of the late Fayette and Bertha Shumway Wood, and was married to Ret. USAF Major Franklin W. Statum, who died January 20, 1997. She served in the Womens Army Air Corps durinng WW II, and was a volunteer at the VA Medical Center and for Hospice.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Alan Sonner and Karen and Wesley Britton; a brother, Hollis Musgrove; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
