  5. Eddie,

May the Lord be a source of comfort and peace as you reflect on fond memories of your big brother. I had the opportunity to have had conversation with him on several occasions that will always be remembered. God Bless, and may the Lord minister to your needs at this time.

Ernie & Bonnie Phillips and girls.

  6. I am sorry to hear about Lewis. Even though it has been several years since we talked to one another, he will always be remembered as someone special to me. You can be sure he is in a better place today. God bless all of his family.

  7. We are so sorry for this family’s loss, he will be missed. The last time we saw him was at the Mountain Glory Gospel get together where he was helping his brother Eddie with the music. I have a picture in my scrapbook of him at that event. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you.

  9. Jeff, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad, My Thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

  10. Roger and I were so sorry to hear of Lewis’s passing. Even though we didn’t see each other often in our later years, we used to see you both when we were out and about at the Enka Lake Club, etc. Mamaw Swann used to say that her first two great-grandsons were both named Jeffrey Swann. Jeff, I think you were about 10 or so when our Jeffrey was born in ’67. I knew that you were named Jeffrey, but I had planned before Roger and I ever met and married that if I was lucky enough to have a son I would name him that. My grandmother kept a little boy named Jeffrey and we loved him so much. His parents taught at Mars Hill College and I was about a freshman there. Again, we send our condolences and our prayers. Roger’s health at this time is very fragile and he doesn’t go out much except to the doctor.

  11. Jeanette, I was so saddened to read of Lewis’s passing. You folks were always some of my favorite neighbors. He was such a good and kind person. Please know that you will be in my thoughts a prayers now and in the days to come.

  12. Eddie and Family,

We are sorry to hear of the loss of your Brother. At a time like this, any words that would attempt to beguile you of your grief would be futile. All we can say is that we are here for you, and hope your ‘Precious Memories’ of your Brother and the passage of time will serve to comfort you as life continues.

    With Love,
    Buddy & Kathy

  13. May your troubled heart find peace and comfort in the knowledge that you are never alone. May God’s presence ease your trembling spirit and give you rest. He knows how you feel. He is ever aware of your circumstances and ready to be your strength, your grace, and your peace. He is there to cast sunlight into all your darkened shadows, to send encouragement through the love of friends and family, and to replace your weariness with new hope. God is your stronghold, and with Him as your guide, you need never be afraid. No circumstances can block His love. No grief is too hard for Him to bear. No task is too difficult for Him to complete. When what you are feeling is simply too deep for words and nothing anyone does or says can provide you with the relief you need, God understands. He is your provider…today, tomorrow, and always. And He loves you. Cast all your cares on Him…and believe.
God will take care of you ”For He has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrew 13:5

We have known Lewis, his Mom and Dad, and family for many years. They are great folks and are missed.
May God bless each of you in a very special way.
