  1. We are so sorry to learn of Jack’s death. Today, as we read about Doug’s death we looked on line to find Jack’s number to call, and have now learned about Jack. We are saddened to learn about both of them. We were in Tampa with him. Larry taught Jack in his first class at USF. They became fast friends especially once they learned all they had in common. Mary Lou worked for Jack doing Activities. We have such good memories of fun times together. We are sorry we haven’t kept in touch over the last years. We are so grateful for his friendship and that are paths overlapped for awhile. Our thoughts are with you. (334)478-4466

  2. I am sorry that I only recently learned of Jacks death. We were co workers and friends many years ago. Jack was one of the kindest people I have ever known and his memory will always be with me.

  3. I just ran across this obituary for Jack tonight, and had no idea he had passed away. I last saw him at a Nursing home meeting in about 1998 and knew that he had moved to North Carolina and had remarried. I was an A.I.T. Under Jack when he opened Turtle Creek Health Care Center in Jacksonville, Fl. I moved from our home office in Jackson, Mississippi especially to train under him. He was funny, smart and had the driest wit I’ve ever seen. He had the most wonderful knack of making friends with every State Surveyor that came to our building. I am so sad, even after all these years, to hear of his death. Jack was one of a kind; the mold was broken after he was born. Diabetes was always his biggest enemy.
