Lillian Jenkins Pittillo

Lillian Jenkins Pittillo, 96, of Mills Gap Road, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Maryetta Goodson Jenkins and wife of the late Hubert Pittillo. She is survived by nephews, Dallas Jenkins of Arden, Harry Jackson, and wife Judy, of Arden, George Jackson, and wife Jewell, of Alexander, John Jackson, and wife Patricia, of Arden, Roy Jackson, and wife Mary, of Arden; nieces, Connie Gasperson, and husband Kenneth, of Arden, Lillian Taylor, and husband Dan of Arden, Anne Plummer of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Sandra Meadows, and husband Floyd, of Arden. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Williams Cemetery. Mrs. Pittillo will lie in state at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian until service time.
