  4. So sorry to hear about Lillian passing on to heaven. She was a great and insperational lady to a lot of people You are all in our prayers. She taught me so much about teaching Sunday school. God bless all of her family.

  5. Mother, I know you and daddy are sitting up there watching us, as we have had to let both of you go, but are forever thankful for all the life lessons you have left us with. You both have taught us to treat death as a happy time and with that that is exactly what we are doing, sitting around talking and laughing, just enjoying the moment. We were so fortunate that God loaned you to us for so many years and for that we are so grateful and with all the memories we made through those many years will stay with us and give us comfort, with much love your family has let you go and wish to you see again someday.

  10. Patsy,Peggy,Joyce and David,

I loved your mother and she plays center stage in many of my child hood memories of Papa Taylor’s family. I remember her always being so encouraging at the clogging competitions. She had a great sense of humor and was quick witted and mischievious. She passed along to each of you her sense of humor, mischieviousness as well as her quick wit. I am so sorry for your loss. I know what it is like to lose a parent and a freind. I love you guys.

  11. Dearest David and Sisters,

Your mother was a fine lady who will be missed by many. Her laughter, sparkle and keen sense of humor set the pace for the Massie children who are all a fine reflection of their parents.

I didn’t know Lillian for very long but she made sure I was welcomed into the Massie family and I am truly grateful to have spent time with her in her last years. Her courage and strength was an inspiration to me and continues to live on through my dearest David, may she rest peacefully.
