Lillian O. Cagle

Mrs. Cagle was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late E.J. Sr. and Josephine Duckett Ownbey.  She was also preceded in death by two sons, Michael Cagle in 1941, and the Rev. Carroll Cagle, who died in 1994, and three brothers, Robert, Lane and E.J.
Ownbey, Jr.  She was retired from Kellwood Corporation and was a member of Reeves Chapel United Methodist Church and of the Good Neighbor Club.

She is survived by her husband, Henry W. Cagle;  a daughter, Judy C. McKinney and her
husband Everett of Asheville;  two sons, Coy Cagle and his wife Judy of Asheville and Dick Cagle and his wife Gail of Selma, NC;  a sister, Alice Holcombe of Leicester;  a brother, Louis Ownbey of Asheville;  fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm Monday in the Patton Avenue
chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. G. Scott Lynch officiating.

Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Acton United Methodist Church
Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service
Monday evening and at other times will be at 186 Sardis Road.
