It is with great sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Lindsay Danelle Stanford, 35, of Fairview, who passed away December 24, 2018. Lindsay was born September 4, 1983 in Myrtle Beach, SC. She has lived in Asheville since 2005. She worked for Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., and was a member of Covenant Community Church. Surviving are her husband, Adam H. Stanford; parents, Daniel and Meegan James Hoffer; son, Austin William Stanford; daughter, Emily Hunter Stanford; sister, Amanda Swindell (Rob); and brother, Brian Hoffer. Lindsay was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. For family, friends, and others whose lives Lindsay touched, memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29 at Covenant Community Church, with Pastor Rich Tuttle officiating. The family will receive friends prior to service beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission NICU, by mail to Mission Philanthropy, Attn: Childrens Services NICU, PO Box 5363, Asheville, NC 28813, or at https://portal.missionphilanthropy.org/donate/. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.

It was so wonderful to catch up with you over the past few years since our time at Radford and just recently talking about how fun it would be if we lived closer and could be on maternity leave with our baby girls.   4. I got to talk with Lindsey before my surgery not knowing it would be my last I will always remember it Lindsey and Adam are special to me anytime I went by showroom always got my hug from her she will be missed with all my love jack

I would always tell her she was my most favorite rep and that I wish she could be my rep for every product category of everything because I loved working with her! She was always so friendly and helpful- just a joy to talk to, no matter what the situation. Her happy, calm demeanor saved the day many times. She will be truly missed by so many people. I feel blessed to have crossed paths with her and my heart aches for her friends and family. Sending many prayers for comfort and guidance through such an unexpected tragedy.
