Arden ~ Lindsay Erin Paulson, 19, died Wednesday, September 1, 2004, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Fletcher, she had been baptized in the Church of Christ and had attended T.C. Roberson High School. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Linda and Ed Swims of Asheville; her father and stepmother, Terry and Ruth Paulson of Arden; two sisters, Jennifer Klein and Jessica Driggers; three brothers, Terry Paulson, Jr., Evan Paulson and Matthew Paulson; two stepsisters, LeAnn Swims and Madeleine Swims and a stepbrother, Scott Cowie. Also surviving is her paternal grandmother, Ione Paulson of Wisconsin; her maternal grandmother, Ranelle Duncan, and her husband, Tom of Florida and her maternal grandfather, Bob Lee and his wife, Mary of Florida; several cousins, one niece and one nephew. Friends of Lindsay's are invited to Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian anytime between the hours of 12:00 noon and 5:00 PM Saturday. No public services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lindsay's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
