  1. To my amazing friend, the hardest worker I have ever known, and my favorite hockey player to watch, I am honored to have lived with you my senior year at Asbury. Logan you inspired so many people with your visions of film and I witnessed the countless hours you spent perfecting the footage of all of your projects. Thank you for pursuing your passions and for leading others so well. You will be dearly missed my friend.

  2. Logan will never be forgotten and forever in the hearts of everyone who he walked with him in life.
A wonderful young man who left us too soon.

    • Logan was an incredible friend that always made my days better. I will always miss hanging out together and having fun; he was truly an amazing man and friend that spread happiness to everyone around him. Thank you, Logan, for being such an amazing friend. I will never forget the great times we had. You will be dearly missed by so many.

  3. Such a fun and easy to be around guy. A beautiful mind and big dreams that I pray we can all carry on for him. My prayers and condolences. Love you Logan!

  4. Logan…Man I Know You brought All The Music ,Talent And Fun And Didn’t Have To Pack It Up…We All know That Heaven Was Waiting For You…Total Happiness Now..No Pain Or Worry…Wish I Could Of Met You Logan…But I Will…I Love Your Dad And Mom..Your Dad And I Have Too Much Fun…He Is One Of The Good Ones..When You Have Time Find My Dog Stanley And Give him A Hug…Thank You..

  5. There is a hole shaped Logan in the world that can never be filled… no one is like you, you perfect angel. I am so honored and grateful to have called you my friend… I love you and I miss you, Logan. Longing for the next time we get to rehearse together, life isn’t the same without you here.

  6. I’ll always remember Logan, and all the times we would hang out in high school and talk about our mutual love for video games, movies, and music. He seemed to always make me laugh, but more than that he was such a sweet and understanding soul. Thank you, Logan, for making life just that much brighter. I look forward to the day we meet again. Your family and loved ones are ever in my prayers.

  7. We had never had the pleasure of meeting Logan but he sounded like he was a wonderful young man. Our prayers are with you all.

  8. So terribly sorry for Logan’s passing. Rixa always lit up when she spoke of him, his energy and his music and his character. He was clearly an amazing person and man of God. He will be missed by many.

  9. I remember Logan as such a fun, affable, and happy guy.
He once saved a show we were doing at Asbury. Our sound guy hadn’t shown up. We were 15 minutes before curtain. My wife Carol, who was the director, looked at Logan who was in the green room (and had snuck in so he wouldn’t have to pay for the show 🙂 and said, “Logan can you run sound tonight!?” And Logan simply shrugged, smiled, and said, “Sure.” He went upstairs to the sound booth and very calmly saved the whole show that night!
But I will always remember him as the director of The Hobbit with a cast of “thousands,” Noah Clark’s gollum, and Aiden’s enormous and beautiful dragon’s head. Logan pulled all that together and created an amazing experience for students.
We will miss his talent, his heart, and his smiling presence.

  10. Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
    To sweet eternity.
    We all have different journey’s,
    Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
    But never meant to stay….
    Our destination is a place,
    Far greater than we know.
    For some the journey’s quicker,
    For some the journey’s slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
    We’ll claim a great reward,
    And find an everlasting peace,
    Together with the Lord.

  11. I am sorry to hear of Logan’s passing. He played percussion in the Asbury University Concert Band during his time at our university. (It is my privilege to serve as conductor of that group.) I am praying for his family and friends as you deal with his loss.

  12. Logan was my friend and on my brother hall my freshman year. He was sweet and a good friend to those around him. I am grateful for the friendship we had then and how kind he was to me. I pray for his family that they will experience God’s peace and know his compassion for them.

  13. I never got to know you, Logan, despite being classmates. I wish we had a chance meeting that bloomed into a friendship. I’m sorry that you’re not here, the world is less with you gone. I look forward to getting to know you in the coming Kingdom.

  14. Logan was a delight to work with at Asbury. Jim Shores already told the story of Logan saving our final sold out performance of a show when the sound guy didn’t show up. Not only was it divine timing that I suddenly looked at Logan sitting next to Jackson in the green room and realized he wasn’t just visiting for prayer time but he was the only one who could pull this off. Five months before, Logan was assigned to do audio for the three one acts. He had never worked with setting cues and the system was brand new to him. He sat there and figured it out. I was amazed. We created the sound together trying out music, sound cues, and creating the preshow setlist getting excited when things worked and laughing a lot. . He had this whole left brain thing going on of structure and understanding of mechanics that was more than just filling a need, it was the heart he brought to it and the buy in. He was so affable and fun loving doing it, that he made the whole process a joy. Logan lived life fully, and I bet he’s continuing on with that where he is now. He is part of the story of God‘s goodness and blessings at Asbury because of his presence here. My prayers continue for God‘s comfort for his mom, dad and for Rixa.

  15. Dear Kerrie
My heart is broken for you and Michael .Logan was such a fantastic friend n highly intelligent . We were honored to have gotten to have a small part in his life.He will be missed terribly.

  16. Logan’s energy was like no other. It’s very hard to describe it. He was crazy but that’s why we all loved him. There was never a dull moment working with him. Whether it was on set, on stage, or in the science lab. If Logan loved you, he LOVED you. Thank you for all the memories my friend, we’ll created more on the other side. Love you!

  17. Logan, it was a joy and honor to work on projects with you, live with you at Asbury, watch your amazing productions, and experience your friendship. Your love for others was so clearly poured out through every production and project you touched. You cared so much about what you were making but your cared more about the people you made it with and who you made it for. I’ll always cherish the late nights working on films, watching movies, talking about movies, and just hearing your incredible ideas. Can’t wait to see you again someday soon. Love you man.

  18. I’m am truly sorry for your loss. I have never had the honor to meet this wonderful God fearing man but I know he had to be very special that my niece loves him so much!!!! Prayers and hugs from my Ohana to yours!

  19. Logan Edwards was an inspiration! Entering my freshman year at Asbury, one of a few role model I held to high regard was Logan. He’s energy, personality, and love was never matched and loved by a mantra of pursing a goal and never giving up. Today this day I live that same goal he showed me and without him I won’t be working as hard as I saw him. He was my senior role model and I was his freshman follower. I will always love you Logan, I will never forget you.

  20. Cheri and I want to extend our deepest sympathies to Logan’s family and friends. I remember Logan vividly as a precious teenager, always smiling and dedicated to the smooth running of drama productions at ACA. I recall he, Jackson Wilhelmi, and Jacob Keefer making the joint decision to attend college at Asbury University and bringing home skills which allowed them to pursue God-honoring careers. So glad to see that Logan was using his talents at WORLD.

We continue to pray for the family in their loss. We praise God for the way he lived his life dedicated to the building up of the body of Christ. Thank you, Logan, for not hiding your candle under a bushel.

  21. Chelsea and I couldn’t be there today because the stomach bug is at our house, but we are with you and praying for you.

  22. Logan was good ‘kid’ and a fine young man; a pleasure to work with.

Though we weep today, the smiles you gave us will remind of the good times we shared together.

May God’s peace be with his family and friends, near and far.

  23. Kerrie and Michael, I just heard about Logan’s promotion. My heart is aching for you, but I know, as you do, that God makes no mistakes. Life is hard to understand, but I pray that every day God will hold you close and His grace will see you through this.

  24. Mikey and Kerrie, words can’t express how sorry I am for your loss. I’m holding you close in my heart now and always.

  25. I am so sorry for Logan’s family. My prayers and thoughts are with you. He was a beautiful talent, such a fun and kind person. I am grateful for Asbury and the connection to film, although it had been some time, I was impressed with all he did & accomplished. I wish peace and grace to you all, and pray for Jesus’ healing arms. ❤️
