Lorene Moser Riedel, 86, formerly of Beverly Road, Asheville, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Asheville Healthcare Center.
A native of Marion, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Jeter F. and Edna Rowell Moser. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Riedel; daughter, Sandy R. Young and her sister, Myrtis M. Sorrells.
She was retired from Southern Bell where she was a supervisor and was a member of the Pioneer Club. She was also a member of Groce United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, C. Scott Riedel, Jr. of Chelsea, MI; a sister, Edna Nelson of Asheville and two grandsons, Charles Scott Riedel III and Donald Howard Riedel.
A graveside service will be held 11:00am Friday at Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Carl Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Bldg.1, Asheville, NC 28801.
