Lori Ann “Grandma Cookie” Pallinger, 63, of Black Mountain, died Thursday, August 22, 2024 at her residence.
Born in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Kathleen “Kathy” (Soltis) Grundmann and her husband Larry of New Orleans, LA, and the late Emil W. Pallinger.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arden, she was a loving mother who adored her children and grandchildren.
Lori is also survived by a son, Jorie Loomis of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters: Danya Horrocks of Black Mountain and Adison Psalia of Vacaville, CA; five grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Pallinger and his wife Terri of Roseville, CA; and a sister, Lisa, in Washington.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3401 Sweeten Creek Rd., Arden with Bishop Mike Stohl officiating.
The family requests no flowers, please. Instead, please make a memorial contribution in Lori’s memory to the charity of your choice.
