February 22, 1944 ~ December 31, 2006
Lorraine M. Daly, 62, of Fletcher, NC and formerly of Franklin, MA, died Sunday, December 31, 2006, following a brief illness.
A native of Walpole, MA, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Helen Thompson MacDonald.
Mrs. Daly is survived by her husband of 41 years, William J. Daly; one daughter, Sharon E. O’Connor of Suwanee, GA; two sons, Christopher M. Daly of Rexford, NY and Michael S. Daly of Celebration, FL; three grandchildren and three brothers, Russell MacDonald of Clearwater, FL, James MacDonald of Walpole, MA and John MacDonald of Norwood, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church with Father Dean Cesa officiating.
Interment will follow at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard in Fletcher, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden, NC with a rosary said at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to any local Humane Society.
