Losie Jane Harwood

Losie Jane Harwood, 86, of 197 Hanover Street, Asheville, died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at Pisgah Manor Nursing Center. Mrs. Harwood was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Parley and Anna Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Adlai H. Harwood, and by a daughter, Wanda Sue Harwood. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Harwood of Asheville; three sisters, Trula Morgan of Asheville, Thelma Johnson of Candler and Mildred Ridley of Clarksville, GA; and three brothers, Lawrence Morgan and Bobby Morgan of Asheville and Albert Morgan of Mills River. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at Caleb Baptist Church where she was a member with the Rev. David Gosnell officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
