Louise E. Garren

          Louise Erwin Garren, 70, of 218 Hanover St., Asheville, died Thursday, April 22, 1999 in a local hospital.

     A native of Haywood County, she was the wife of the late Ledgar L. Garren. She was a retired employee of Sky City.

     She is survived by her mother, Hallie DeWeese Erwin of Mars Hill; three daughters, June Jones and Doris Garren both of Asheville and Judy Garren of Mars Hill; a son Dennis Garren of Arden and one grandson, Matthew Garren.

     Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Stanley Peek officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park.

     Her family will receive friends 7 - 8:30 p.m. Friday  at the funeral home.
