Louise M. Moore

Mrs. Moore was a native of Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Leslie Henry and Minnie Belle Helton Miller. She was married to George Charles Moore who died in 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Tina Hayes of Candler and Rachel Hargrove of Leicester; three sons, George Michael Moore, Bruce Daniel Moore and Charles Grady Moore of Candler; one sister, Anna Mae Thomas of Asheville; three brothers, Benjamin Franklin Miller, Leslie M. “Don” Miller, and Oliver Miller, all of Candler; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Burial will be at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
