Louise Mullikin Ellison, 80, of 99 Frances Street, Asheville, died
Wednesday, November 4, 1998, in an Asheville hospital.
Mrs. Ellison was born in Anderson County, SC, and was a daughter of
the late Truman and Nora Lollis Mullikin. She was also preceded in death
by a brother, Harold Mullikin, formerly of Walhalla, SC. She had lived in
Asheville for 35 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Ellison; four daughters, Shelby
Campbell of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ann Finley of Williamston, SC, Jane
Webb of Fountain Inn, SC, and Linda Hill of Asheville; two sons, James
“Bud” Ellison of Belton, SC and Rick Ellison of Asheville; two sisters,
Catherine Davis of Piedmont, SC and Annie Capparelli of Greenville, SC;
a brother-in-law Dock Ellison of the home; thirteen grandchildren, David,
Lynn, Jimmy, Richard, Jessie, Lisa, Debbie, Tisa, Rory, Haley, Cindy,
Becky and Roy Jr.; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home
with the Rev. Buddy Corbin officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn
Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at the funeral
home.
