I’ve know Mrs. Henson since the early 1960s. Mark and I are life-long friends and shared many days running around in the woods behind our homes on Sand Hill Road. In all that time, I have only the nicest, kindest, and loving memories of Mrs. Henson. (Now Mr. Henson would pull your leg) She was a corner-stone of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church and a dear friend to many of my family members. Mrs. Henson … you are loved by many and will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know you. Love, Tony McLean Brown
Great Aunt Louise, such a wonderful example of a true lady in every way. She was always smiling, and had a sweet, loving spirit which lives on in her children. We will see you in Heaven one day, Aunt Louise. I can’t wait to hug your neck.
Nancy, I’m sorry for the loss of your mother. She sounds like a wonderful woman and I’m sure it gives you comfort to know she is now happy and loved in heaven. You and all her family are in my prayers.
What a beautiful and giving woman. So many babies she nurtured and helped into this world. Cared for adults as well and made their situation brighter. She always had time to talk and listen to us. She will live on in our memories. Heaven has gained a true angel.
I count it a great blessing to have served as Louise’s pastor and friend! What an amazing person! She kept on going, doing as much as she could do, as long as she could. Her spirit was positive. Her insight trustworthy. Her energy amazing. While pastoring at Francis Asbury UMC, on many occasions she was my go-to confidant and counselor, and she probably didn’t even know it. May Lousie rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing.
My Idle as a super person/wife/Mother/Grandmother and Aunt and Nurse. I am saddened not to have seen her when she was too ill for Patricia and me to visit her in Feb. Nancy thanks for your keeping us updated on her condition and care. She was always in my prayers for her and family. I am so thankful to have known her as our last Aunt that ends a generation who represented our family as a loving/kind and beautiful lady. Now in the arms of our Savior she has finally found comfort and rest
