Lourana Yount Williams

Lourana Marie Yount Williams, 70, of Fairview, passed away at her residence and took flight to her Heavenly home on May 1, 2024.

She was a daughter of the late Harold Eugene Yount Sr. and Imogene Fallis Yount and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Steven Williams, Sr.; one brother, Harold Eugene Yount, Jr. and one granddaughter, Amber Marie Buckner.

Lourana loved time spent making memories with her family. She cherished her time with her husband, Steve, and always enjoyed hosting her entire family for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Cooking was how she showed her love. She was up for anything, including spur of the moment trips and adventures, including a recent trip to a concert with a 24-hour turnaround. She had a longtime love of Elvis Presley and recently made a trip to Graceland and enjoyed watching game shows and Chicago Fire on TV. Lourana loved Jesus and knew where she was going.

She is survived by her four children, Heather Balken (Bob), Kim Ann Al-Harbi (Hussein), Steve Williams, Jr. (Donna) and Tanya Williams (Chris Buckner); grandchildren, Lauren Searcy, Brittany Williams, Kelsey Cleveland, Brianna Tomblin (Jacob), Kristy King (Tyler), Sarah Anderson (Dillan), Ali Al-Harbi, Abdullah Al-Harbi, Saad Al-Harbi, Norah Al-Harbi, Leena Al-Harbi, Yasmeen Al-Harbi and Reem Al-Harbi; great-grandchildren, Indi Searcy, Alaric Anderson, Haven Anderson and Paislee King and siblings, Ronnie Yount (Candi), Regina Allen (J.R.) and Tommy Yount (Michele).

A Funeral Service will be held starting at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, May 7 at Trinity of Fairview Church with Pastor Stacey Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery. Her family will greet friends at the church on Tuesday from 3:30 until 4:30 PM.
