Lucia Pulliam Terenzi

Lucia Pulliam Terenzi, 84, died Sunday, December 21, 2008, at the John F. Keever Solace Center after a short illness. A native of Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Assunta Terenzi and was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Lucia was a WAC in the US Army and a former employee of the New York State Lottery Commission and was a personal assistant with the I.B. Schroeder Bank. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and is survived by her son, Larry Pulliam and his wife, Rebecca, of Biltmore Lake; three grandchildren, Dustin Pulliam and his wife, Meghan, Parker Pulliam and Ava Pulliam; great grandson, Talyn Pulliam; two sisters, Fran Rizzo of Oceanside, New York and Virginia Terenzi of York, PA and a brother, Joseph Terenzi of Wallingford, Vermont. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. Private interment will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
