Asheville ~ Lucile Jane Sharp, 91, of Asheville formerly of Clearwater, Fl passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Givens Health Care Center.
She was born in Spirit Lake, Iowa and was the daughter of the late Fred and Neva Grace Melick Wiegand. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Sharp and three brothers.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Linda Clay and husband Pete of Asheville, Donna Tetrault and husband Ric of Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren, Karen Spake of Asheville, Kristen Bostian of Morrisville, NC, Glen Tetrault of Cary, NC and Allison Parrott of Palm Harbor, FL; nine great-grandchildren, Anna, Claire, Mason, Kaitlyn, Graham, Jake, Taylor, Payton and Tripp.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Sylvan Abby Memorial Park in Clearwater, FL.

Dear Family,
So sorry to learn of your loss. Happy to have had the honor of being part of Lucille’s care at Arbor Terrace.
A very sweet incidence to share with you: I work 3rd shift and went in to give Ms. Lucille her a.m. medicine around 6. When she took the pills, I said, ‘Thank you, Maam.’ She quickly replied to me, ‘I’m no Maam, I’m no Madam, I’m Lucille Jane Sharp.’ I said, ‘Well then, Thank you, Lucille Jane Sharp and you have a really good day.’ She said, ‘Thank you, I will.’
Lucille was always so sweet to deal with in the early hours of 3rd shift.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
