Lucy Mae Reese Fore, 93, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Heather Glen of Ardenwoods.
Mrs. Fore was born in Madison County and was the last of 12 children of the late Robert and Florence Ensley Reese. She was married to Roy H. Fore, who died in 1992.
Mrs. Fore was a former legal secretary and also worked as a house mother at the Baptist Childrens' Home in Thomasville, NC.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Richie of Asheville.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dolph Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Madison Seminary Cemetery, Madison County.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother Elaine…I will miss her and all the good talks that we shared. She was a wonderful lady and I will truly miss her.
