Fletcher ~ Lula “ Tincy” Williams McKinney, of John Tate Drive, Fletcher, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at her residence
A native of McDowell County, Mrs. McKinney was the daughter of the late George Williams and Pearl Hollifield Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McKinney and two sisters, Annie Mae Autrey and Iva Pearl Walker; two brothers, George Williams, Jr. and Paul Williams; half-sister, Doris Teer.
Mrs. McKinney retired from Drexel Heritage in Morganton after 30 years of service.
She is survived by her sister, Loveada Owens of Fletcher; two nephews and five nieces; several great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday in New Salem Cemetery with the Pastor Randy Crane officiating.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is in charge of arrangements.
