Guestbook

  1. Although I did not know your husband, Mr. Gibson personally, reading of his death and all the family he left to mourn him saddened me. We don’t always have to know a person or family to have empathy for them at such distressing time. I know that it is hard to bear the loss of someone so dear, after a 66 year marriage. Our loving Heavenly Father too has empathy for all of us who experience the awful sting of death. At Isaiah 63:9 it says of God: ‘During all of their distress it was distressing to him…’ Because he feels our pain, mercifully our loving God assures us that death will be eliminated.- Revelation 21:4. And even further, at Acts 24:15, we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones in the promised resurrection, into a world free from old age, pain, sickness and death. And although there is little that one can say or do to take away your pain, please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many. I pray that these scriptures and the warm memories of your husband, father, and friend, will comfort you until the time when you and your family are reunited in the resurrection.
    Sincerely,

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

  6. So sorry for your loss. I work with his son, and he is a fine person to work with. Praying God’s strength will reside with you, many prayers.

  7. Lee and Family – I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. May the Lord give you comfort, peace and strength in days ahead.
