Lyda Jean Goldston Wilkie, 81, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Ms. Wilkie was born in Oakdale, TN to the late Robert Goldston and Hazel Vitatoe Lawrence. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Goldston of Roanoke, VA.
Lyda worked as a registered nurse in the NICU at Mission Hospital for over 30 years. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda W. Estrada and Terri W. Clark (Kip); a son, Robert Charles Wilkie; two grandchildren, Marcus C. Wilkie (Shannon) and Leticia W. Brittain (Derrick); five great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
