Lynda will always hold a special place in my heart! I always loved being around her she made smile and laugh. I will always cherish and thank God for her she was always watching out for me at work she took me under her wing (my work mama)🦋💜 I always admired her style her love for her family and her positive attitude! Lynda Jean Jones Brackett, 70, of Hendersonville, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Emory Lynn and Betty Jean Clark Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Eugene “Bud” Brackett and one brother.
Lynda worked for many years at Electrolux. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bingo and spending time with friends at Brookdale Hendersonville.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Lynn (John); one son, David Tinsley; one sister, Debra Burrell (Ricky); one brother, Mike Jones and one grandson, David Kent (Kate), as well as two great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life from 6:00-7:00 PM on Friday, August 27 at Groce Funeral Home’s Lake Julian location in Arden.
Her family wishes to thank the staffs of Brookdale Hendersonville, Four Seasons Hospice and the Elizabeth House for the loving care they gave to Lynda. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that memorial donations be made in Lynda’s name to Four Seasons Compassion For Life, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
