Mabel Sigmon Campbell

Mabel Sigmon Campbell, 97, formerly of Durham, NC, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Aston Park Health Care Center. Mrs. Campbell was born in Morganton and was the daughter of the late state senator Thomas L. Sigmon and Geneva Tilley Sigmon. She was married to the late D.P. Campbell, a prominent Durham banker. Surviving her are one sister, Irma Hampton of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Hoffman officiating.
