Guestbook

  1. I\\\’m so sorry I didn\\\’t get to be closer with my Great Aunt Macie. Mom misses her deeply and so does Papaw, Macie\\\’s brother. I\\\’ve only heard wonderful things about her:) God be with everyone during this time.

  2. Remembering All of You

I thought of my Aunt Macie today, but that is nothing new. I thought of her yesterday, and will tomorrow too.

And I also think of all of you as well, even though you make no outward show. For what it means to lose a mother, sister, grandmother, it is something I surely know.

Remembering my dear Aunt Macie will be easy, she was such a special lady and a ray of sunshine in my life. I will miss my phone conversations with her and the messages on my answering machine when I wasn’t home ‘Darling, I just wanted to tell you, I love you’. No matter how dark my day was, when I heard that sweet southern voice telling me those three words, the day got a lot brighter. I wish I could talk to her one last time to tell her, ‘I love you’.

But I will remember your heartache as well, which I know will never go away.

You are ALL in our hearts and prayers. We love you.

    God Bless

  5. We were blessed to have had the opportunity to worship in years past with Ms. Bailey- she was faithful in her Love For The Lord, and it showed in her life, and faithfulness to her church, she was known for her ‘card ministry’- always sending a word of encouragement to those she thought might have a need. The joy she had in The Lord, showed in her daily walk. She loved her church, and her Pastors immensly, undoubtedly she will be soarly missed by those having the privaledge to know her. Our prayers and sympathy are extended to her family, friends and extended church family.

  6. I’m truly sorry about your great loss. I had the privelage of talking to Macie on the phone and I sincerely wish that I had had the opportunity to meet her. She was a very caring person who touched my heart when it needed to be touched.

  7. Grandma, I can’t believe you are gone. I know that you are smiling down on all of us, I can see you holding hands with Papaw on one side & Lisa on the other. I LOVE you, and I will miss you until the day I go home to see you all!! Love, Lori

  8. Words cannot convey the love and admiration that we both felt for ‘Miss Macie’. She was a friend and encourager to us from the first day that we joined Trinity Baptist Church. Her loving nature and her kind spirit lifted us up more times than she ever knew. But what I will miss most is hearing her say, ‘I pray for you every day, Donnie’. What a blessing it was to know that this sainted lady brought my name before the Lord on a daily basis. I will truly miss her kisses and encouragement, but I rejoice in the fact that she is now ‘home at last’, how Heaven must have rejoiced! To the family, thank you for allowing me to be with you as she took her last breath here, and her next one in Glory. I pray for God’s grace and mercy for each one of you as you face the lonely days ahead, but I promise you, God’s grace is sufficient! With our love to you all.

  9. An angel has left this world for a better place. I will truly miss being hugged, kissed and told I Love You by Miss Macie. She was one sweet person and we were blessed to have had her in our presence….God Bless the family. Our prayers are with you… The Cipar Family, Leicester NC

  10. I will always love my sweetheart and I still believe I loved her more than she loved me if possible. But like she said we will ask our Jesus when we all get there. Thank you family for sharing her with us. One more reason to want our sweet Jesus too come.

  11. You all know how much we love you. There are so many sweet memories I could fill a book.

It was so amazing that the day of the stroke and the 4 day following, Sis was able to hear even me talking to her. that was definitely our gift from God. she was able to hear anything we might want to say to her and, for the most part, we knew what she said. One time she was very clear when she got a frown on her face and said ‘I wish Ralph Jr. would hurry and get here’. (that was on Thursday)

When Charlie and I first walked in on Wednesday, she hugged and kissed Charlie and cried because ‘I promised to fix you some fried cabbage the next time you were down’. Now isn’t that just like her. Oh my how we love our Sis.

  12. I grew up with Pat and Glenn and the girls were like mine I love them all dearly.Shirley and Robert I have loved all my life also.I know you have suffered a great loss.I am so sorry ,God bless you all

  14. No one has ever demonstrated love more than Macie Bailey, and no one could make you feel more loved, either! Her words, ‘I love you, sugar’ will forever sound in my heart until we meet again, and she greets me once more with a kiss on the cheek – just like old times.

She was very special to me, Mike, Andrew, and Rachel. We are going to miss her sweet presence.
