Aunt Maddie
You will truly be missed, gone but never forgotten and always in my heart!
Terri
Sweet Maddie. You always treated us like family and we love you so. Wish we could have stopped by to visit but you know how life is with little kids. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Thoughts and prayers to the family of this wonderful woman.
It is the end of an era for the Schmidt family who shared so much history with the Dempsey’s. I was lucky enough to have Maddy here in NC so that not only could we keep in touch by phone but occasionally in person. I will miss her greatly since we shared so may experiences.
I am the youngest of the Schmidt family from Woodlawn . My immediate recall of Maddy is her wonderful sense of humor, contagious laugh, and warm smile, all reflected in the beautiful photo selected ( not to mention her favorite color lavender / lilac shown in her sweater and shawl) . She was a gentle woman who was gracious and genuine – and loved by our family.
My condolences to the Dempsey family on your loss. She and your dad were longtime friends of my parents and they had many great times together. I will always remember Maddie’s kindness and sense of humor.
