One of my fondest memories of my Aunt Margaret was her taking me to my very first McDonalds resturant. As a child that left a lasting impression on me. I remember her always having a bottle of coke a-cola in her hand and how she held it up to drink it with her pinkie finger never touching the bottle. I also remember her as a very vibrant lady, with a spring in her step and a smile on her face. As a child I always looked forward to her visits. My dad believed every moment should be filled with work not play. Aunt Margaret was the only one that could convience him to let us go with her to my grandmother Penland and play with our cousins. I am thankful that I was able to visit with her over the last couple years when Aunt Marion brought her to Linville Falls to visit my Dad. I will miss her but know she is with our Heavenly Father and I will see her again in Heaven.
