Asheville – Marian Davis Holt, 82, died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the John F. Keever Solace Center.
A native of Buncombe County, she was daughter of the late Robert Leonard and Blanche Griffin Davis. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, William Patterson Holt who died in 2001 and by a son, William Patterson "Pat" Holt Jr. She worked at Memorial Mission Hospital as medical technologist and became a homemaker.
Marian is survived by a daughter, Renee Holt Fraser and her husband, Gordon Bissett Fraser Jr. of Asheville, several nieces and nephews along with a few cousins.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard with the Reverend Joe Fulk officiating.
