  2. I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Marie. She was a very sweet person. I will never forget on my very first job, she trained me as a checker at Winn Dixie. She will be greatly missed.

    Sandra Hughey.

  3. Marie was one of my favorite little ladies; she always had a smile; and never ever discounted her many blessings, always a joy to visit. She knew a lot of folks; and somehow would always make a connection bringing kinship somewhere along the way . . “it’s a small world” she would say and laugh and enjoy the moment of discovery. I loved her.

  4. We have enjoyed our times with Marie over these many years. There are many memories that bring a smile; remembering her pleasure in the Easter baskets, the outings we had together, the sharing of recipes.
Marie felt blessed in her faith, in her friendships. A special lady.

  5. She was always smiling, I loved Miss Marie & am comforted I’ll see her again. There was always something about her that blessed my day when I saw her. Rest in the Lords arms.

  6. We are so sorry to hear about Marie. She was such a sweet lady, with an infectious smile. We will sure miss her coming to visit. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  7. I met Marie thru Vincent and Ella Murphy and found her to be so caring and sweet! I married into the Murphy family and Marie made me feel like her family as well! I lost touch with Marie but she was always a thought away. At Ella’s funeral she made a bee line for James and I and gave us the biggest hug! She insisted I take her phone number and had me repeat it to her three times! The funny part was she came up to me at different times during the visitation and had me tell her the phone number!
Marie, you will be much missed!
