    so loving towards me.

  7. Elizabeth and Family,
Your precious mother was someone very special! Marie made a big impact on my heart and although I know she is in Heaven in perfect health and safe in our Lords’ arms it’s hard to let someone so special go! My mother, Helen Burrell, and Chuck and myself send our love and prayers to all of you. May you feel His arms around each of you, also, and know you are being held up in prayer during this most difficult hour.

  8. Elizabeth, Mandy and family,
What a special lady! I have many special memories that I will cherish, one being our jury duty together – we sat in a corner in the courthouse in the waiting room to be picked for jury and shared stories and laughted till we cried – I will miss this lady. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers especially during this time. I love each of you.

  9. Oh Granny how you will be missed. I can hear you now, talking and holding on to my elbow as you do. Heaven is lucky to have gained such a beautiful soul, it is hard to be sad knowing that you are so happy there. Much prayers and love to you Elizabeth, Elaine, Karen, and Buck.

I am so sorry for your loss. Granny was always like another grandmother to me. She will be greatly missed, but it is comforting to know there is another angel in heaven smiling down and watching over you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  15. Elizabeth, I am going to miss your Mom so much. I pray that if I get to be her age that I have the spirit of living that Marie possessed. I will remember the laughter and the funny stories that she had about growing up in Candler. I am so thankful that we stopped to visit and got the last hug. You are and have been in my thoughts and my prayers. Love you Belinda

  16. To Marie’s family: I send my sincerest condolences. Marie and I started to school together at Hillcrest in Miss Ethel’s first grade. I failed the first grade and Marie got ahead of me. We had often talked of having a ‘Hillcrest Reunion’ but never got around to it. I loved to hear her tell stories of her younger days. She was always smiling and seemed to enjoylife so much. I remember the trip we took to Branson, Missouri. She and Harold were celebrating their golden anniversary. I know you will miss her terribly but take comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering. My prayers are with you.

  17. Elaine and Bucky, It is always sad to loose a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with you both, and your sisters although I never really knew them. Kathy Jolly

  18. Elizabeth and family — Betty and I am so sorry for your loss. I only met your Mom a few times, but she was delightful, I felt like I’d known her much longer than meeting her a few times. I know God will give you all the strength you need to get through this, as you know as well. All our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Robin and Betty.

  19. Dear Family,
Ms. Marie was a precious friend whom I dearly loved. She was a fine Christian woman who lived a full life of loving God, her family and friends. I shall never forget her many kindnesses to me, over the years, after I left Ridgeway. She always brought joy to my life with her warm loving smile, hugs, and words of encouragement.

Please take comfort in knowing that you provided her with lots of love, sweet memories, and good times. Now, a well-deserved rest with her loved
ones in Heaven, you will see her again some day. I send my love to each of you, and prayers that God will hold you close, and grant you grace and peace during your time of sorrow.
