Dearest Maggie and Tom And Family,
I wish I could I say how I feel about your Mother, however that may never be possible or easily understood. Your Mother and I seemed to understand what it was like to be displaced, and not have a port in which to land. I know it is tough to understand but that’s why your mother and I could go to Savannah, Nashille, Memphis, Franklin, Spring Hill, the beach, and my sister’s at Santee Cooper Lake. She always shared memories of her children. We shared so many memories about you three children. I would love to talk to you about these conversations. I was very happy that she liked Sugar and she took pleasure in being around her. Our dog Spankey loved a blanket that your Mom gave him.
I love you and you will never know how much your extended family has meant to me.
Love,
‘Uncle Joyce’
I always enjoyed seeing Marie when I visited the Deerfield skill care
facility with the Buncombe County
Community Advisory Committee. She was always dressed so smartly and involved in the activities. We have been out of town and I didn’t see the notice of her services until after the fact, so I am so sorry we were not able to pay our respects in person.

One of my favorite quotes about death is ‘long after the final curtain call, the audience claps on.’ In your case I think saying ‘the standing ovation continues’ would be a better idea. Your blessings will resound through the many stories, trips, and pictures discussed here and through everyone you touched. Your legacy will also continue through your family. I know personally that anyone who comes in contact with your children know what an amazing mother, teacher, and mentor you were. Namaste`
I have such fond memories of Aunt Marie. She had such a love for bridge & playing golf. I always envied her beautiful skin. Even today when I smell a certian lotion it makes me think of her. Margaret, Tom & Bill…please know my thoughts are with you during this time. Your mom was blessed to have each of you. Love to you…

YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS
I’m sorry for your lost. Wish you and your family well.
Please accept my deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Kathleen
Someone new has entered our eternal home above-the heavenly gate has opened wide to welcome one you love. We cannot help the tears that fall-our hearts need time to grieve when earthly life has ended and a loved one has to leave. Yet in the saddest time, we know our Savior lives, and we can trust completely in the promise that He gives-that in a glad reunion with the Lord our loved ones wait to welcome us in joy with no more tears beyond the gate…’
To the Boone family — While no words of mine can ease your loss, please know you are in my thoughts and heart at this time of deep sorrow.

Bill and Joyce: I have loved Boonie through your adventures with her and by the way you love her. Most of all, I have loved her by knowing you, Bill, and in seeing the ways you love others. She had the same ferocity and loyalty that you show to those you love. Boonie was an amazing woman and I’m blessed to know her through the eyes of her amazing son and daughter-in-law. You are both loved.
Bill, Paul and I are thinking of you, I always love to hear the stories about you and your mother while you were going up at home!!!
Aunt Marie helped me so much in my search for my biological family. Alice Gentry, who predeceased Marie, was her sister, my birth mother who named
me Patty Kaye Gentry. I was born 11-11-1947 at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport,Tn. She was a beautiful, gracious lady, active, fun loving and sincere. I love her. What a lady! I met her son Tom Boone and her daughter Margaret Boone at her home in Biltmore Forest. I loved her and carry her memory with love.
