  2. Sending up prayers for all the family that God will give you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Marilyn was a beautiful lady with a sweet personality. I know you have many precious memories of the family gatherings. Cherish those times until you meet again in Heaven.

  3. We will miss the matriarch of our neighborhood. But her name will stay alive on “her street”, Charlyn Drive. Thanks for the decades of friendship, Marilyn. We love you.

  4. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as you remember Marilyn. We (the 3 cousins from Knoxville) fondly recall our time spent in her company. She was a truly gracious and loving person.

  5. Sad to hear of the death of my cousin Marilyn. My first memory of her is in the aftermath of Franklin’s accident, trying to learn to ride a bicycle, then meeting the Carolina side of the family for a group picnic at the Chimney’s numerous times and being amazed at the number of cousins we had. And most recently sending and receiving Christmas cards every year. Wish we could have been closer – but there is a day coming when neither time nor distance will be a hindrance. Looking forward to that!
Til then, your aunt Ruby’s Danny

  6. Thoughts and prayers for Marilyn’s family are with you. Always remember the wonderful times with her.
Nancy Coker Day, a Knoxville cousin
