Marilyn Marie Wilansky

Marilyn Marie (Marland) Wilansky, 89, of Asheville, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at John F. Keever Solace Center, Asheville. Born in Corning, NY, she was the wife of the late Harold Wilansky, who died October 13, 2017, and the daughter of the late George and Margaret Marland. She was a talented artist who loved to paint. Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Ross, of Asheville; a son, Paul Wilansky, of Winter Park, FL; and 2 grandchildren, Katie and Mike. It was Marilyn’s wishes that no services be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marilyn’s memory may be made to CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 5779, Asheville, NC 28803. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
