Marjorie Elizabeth Wilson

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Martha McMahan Banks. She was also preceded in death by a grandson John Baldwin.

She is survived by her husband, Hurst Wilson; two daughters, Joyce Ann Smith and her husband Virgil, Sandra Waddell all of Candler; two sons, Eugene Wilson of Candler, James E. Wilson and his wife Diane of Marietta, SC; a sister, Dorothy Bailey of Asheville; five grandchildren, Jack Baldwin, Leslie Waddell, Holly Bandel, Brian Wilson and Robbie Wilson and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Willett officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
