Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mark’s faith and perseverance was something to be in awe of, which came from his love for Christ. He now sits at the table with Jesus. We love him and miss him, but celebrate for him on this earth with his new life in heaven.

  2. We met as young couples when we joined Biltmore Church thirty years ago. We formed a friendship and shared life with several other couples through a Sunday School class. Mark and Judy were a part of encouraging and affirming two of those couples to follow the call to missions and church planting. We also were honored to be part of casting and putting feet to a new vision for the church back then. Never could we have imagined how we would grow as individuals and couples, or how our contributions would help build the firm foundation for a work that continues to grow today. We remember those days very fondly, and are privileged to have shared that leg of the journey with Mark and Judy and to have enjoyed their fellowship and friendship. Mark has been an example and encouragement to us as we have watched him walk strongly in the Lord through difficult circumstances. Our paths have converged and then taken different directions over the years, and we were so thrilled when we reconnected as neighbors more recently. Judy, our hearts and prayers are with you and the family.
    Dave and Sharon Robbins

  3. Judy & family, we’re thinking of you & lifting ongoing prayers. Peace be with you and your family. Much love to you friend. Tim & Karen Land Walker

  4. My deepest sympathy and prayers to the family. I knew Mark as a child and often played with him and Yvonne when visiting with Aunt Emily and Uncle Mark “Buddy”. (My mother was Mildred Yarbrough). Please pass my love and prayers along to Aunt Emily.

  5. Dear Judy and family, I am grateful to have had the honor of meeting Mark in Connect group at Biltmore Church. Marks strength, endurance, kindness and faith through his difficult trials has inspired me and others I’m sure. Judy, you’ve been right there with him remaining calm, loving and very strong through the Lord. Your prayer’s have never ceased. May our Almighty God give you and your family comfort through our Lord Jesus Christ in these most difficult times.

  6. Dear Judy

  8. Judy, Camille and Carolyn,
Sam and I are celebrating Mark’s homecoming even as our hearts are so sad. We are so privileged to have walked through life with such wonderful people…..the good times and the not so good. But God’s goodness was always in every moment and you Judy, and Mark both proclaimed that, even through tears at times. Mark has left us with valuable life lessons as he lived the path God had for him. We are confident that Mark is now hearing God’s “We’ll done”.

  10. Judy and family,
I’m so sorry that the world has lost such a shining example of a Godly man, husband, father, and grandfather, but happy for Mark that he has gained his reward. He really fought the good fight. I know your sorrow is great. Rest assured that he was loved by all who knew him.

  11. I am very sorry for the loss of Mark. He and I went to High school together. Then years later I worked with him at Blue Ridge Metals. He was always a pleasure to be around.

  12. Judy, I’m praying for you. I only saw Mark once; that was at your wedding, and my sister was your Maid of Honor. After the vows were spoken inside the church, you were notified that the vows would have to be repeated behind the church in the cemetary! The Buncombe and Henderson Country lines joined in the cemetary, and your vows had to be spoken in the right county line. I have to smile when I remember your wedding. Sending my love and deepest sympathy.

  13. I am so sorry that Mark has passed. I know it leaves a hole in your heart that will not be filled. Mark was a great guy, and as you know was our lab courier for quite some time before he became my neighbor. I will pray for you and your family.

  14. Judy,
So very sorry to hear the news of Mark’s passing. It’s been such a long time since we have seen each other. We will be praying for you and your family.

  15. Judy I am so very sorry about the news of Mark. I am thinking of you and send love and sympathy to you and your family. Gail
