Martha Coline Lance

Arden ~ Martha Coline Lance, 94, of Arden, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2004. Miss. Lance was born in Henderson County on September 25, 1910 to the late Hall and Effie Ashworth Lance and was preceded in death by four brothers, Hal, Gilbert, Raymond and Claude Lance. She was a member of Arden First Baptist Church. She is survived by one niece, Gladys Lance of Asheville; three nephews, David Lance of Arden, Grayson Lance of Mills River and Kevin Lance of Asheville; sister in-law, Ida Lance of Mills River. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2004 in Shepherd Memorial Park with the Rev. Stephen Summers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and wishes to acknowledge the staff of Lifecare Center in Hendersonville.
