Martha Fuller Borden Moss, 79, of 56 Stoney Ridge, Asheville, died Sunday, February 4, 2007, at Asheville Health Care Center.
Born in Charles Town, WV, on October 22, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Walter Eugene and Ethel Miller Borden. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Eugene Borden.
A resident of Honolulu, HI, for 29 years, she retired from Dolman Associates as a realtor. An Asheville resident since 1993, she was active with the Asheville Symphony Guild and past president of the Beaverdam Run Association. She was an artist in her own right, active in sports and contributed generously to various social organizations.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Moss; daughters, Barrie and Jennifer; sons, Dana and Gregory; sisters, Anna and Ethel; brother, Peter; grandchildren, Briana, Kawai and Hobey.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Zephyr Hills Free Will Baptist Church with the Reverend Danny Gasperson officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

My favorite memories of Martzy will
always be in Hana, Maui where we first met and became good friends. It was a tropical paradise in many ways and I will
always remember how special she
made those times. I consider myself very lucky to have known
such a wonderful person. I will
very much miss her in this world.
