Martha Marie Litchfield Mayfield, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Park Ridge Hospital.
Mrs. Mayfield was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was a daughter of the late Walter and Irene Repine Litchfield. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bill Mayfield and Kevin Mayfield.
Martha was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. She is survived by her two daughters; Paula Bolick and her husband, Joe and Linda Sachs and her husband, Willard; one brother, Joseph Litchfield; one sister, Betty Kowasch; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 3, 2014 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church with Father Adrian Porras officiating with a Rosary being said at 10:30.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at the passing of your mother. It was a joy to spend time with her and Daisy during our HH treatments. She continues to be a spark of light in the heavens.
To the family of Miss Martha, I’m so sorry to read of her passing. Martha was a very sweet lady and friend I used to see her a lot when I was working but I hadn’t seen her in a while. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and may God bless and be with you all at this time of losing your Mom and sister.
