Martha Tipton Miltz

Asheville ~ Martha Tipton Miltz, 88, of Olmstead Drive, Asheville passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Fleshers Fairview Health Care Center. She was born in Florence, Alabama and was the daughter of the late George Victor Tipton and Loris Stewart Tipton. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Keith McCandless and Carl Miltz and a brother, Max Tipton. She was a US Navy Veteran serving during WW II. She is survived by two sons, Keith McCandless of San Francisco and Glen McCandless of Asheville; two stepchildren, Donald Miltz of West Palm Beach, Fl and Carol of Evansville, Ind. No Services are planned at this time, Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road is in charge of arrangements.
