Mary Ann (Husson) Sferruzza, 73, of Asheville, died Friday, April 15, 2022 at Mission Hospital.

Born in Rahway, NJ, she was the wife of Joseph “Joe” Paul Sferruzza of Asheville, and the daughter of the late Charles John and Margaret Mary (McCabe) Husson.

Mary Ann was a loving wife, stepmother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who adored her two granddaughters, Ella Katherine and Kennedy Elise.

In addition to her husband of 31 years and her granddaughters, she is survived by a daughter, Christina Sferruzza Clark (Jeff) of Candler; a brother, John Husson (Kathy) of North Carolina; two sisters: Eileen Whalley (Marty) and Barbara Jean Medlock (Tom), all of California; a number of nieces and nephews; and her beloved Morkie, Sophie.

A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
