Mary Elizabeth Ballew

Mrs. Ballew was a native of Jackson County and was a daughter of the late Ralph and Florie Rabb Leophard. She was a former seamstress at Kelwood and was married to the late Robert Lee Ballew.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Melinda Leophard of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Helen and Leona; one brother, Carl; and four grandchildren, Robert, Christina, Lance, and Adrienne.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Don Welborn officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
