Mary Harvey Thomas,57, a resident of 73 1/2 Montford Avenue, Asheville, for 20 years, died Thursday, December 6, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Fayette County, WV, and was a daughter of Ethel Slate Harvey and the late Clarence C. Harvey. She was a former employee of the Hampton Inn.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bobby Thomas; stepchildren, Bobby, James, Keith, and Tammie Thomas of Asheville, and Richard, Betty Ann and Debbie Sue Thomas of Florida; 22 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a brother, Charles Harvey. She is also survived by Bobby Thomas’ brothers and sister, Donald, Junior, and Jerold Thomas of Erwin, TN and Pearl Ann Thomas of Tennessee; and a sister-in-law, May Thomas of Asheville.
